Problem

A chat paragraph that is mostly Arabic renders left to right when its English words outnumber its Arabic ones. textDirection picks a block's direction by counting words across the whole block. Arabic prose often carries English technical terms (JavaScript, React, API, file names), and a single long English sentence can outvote several Arabic sentences around it. The paragraph then gets dir="ltr": it is left-aligned and its Arabic runs come out in a jumbled order.

Repro: an assistant reply containing this paragraph (three Arabic sentences and one English sentence, 25 Arabic words to 27 English words):

Change

• textDirection votes in two steps: each sentence takes the direction of most of its words, as before, and the text takes the direction of most of its sentences. Tied sentence votes use the whole-text word majority, then the first word.
• Sentences split on ., !, ? or ؟ followed by whitespace, or on a newline, so tokens like index.ts or v1.2 do not split a sentence. Inline e.g. and i.e. also stay within their sentence.

What this improves

• Bug fixed: a mostly Arabic (or Hebrew) paragraph with many English terms reads right to left. Test: reads mostly Arabic sentences beside one long English one in textDirection.test.ts (fails on main, passes here).
• One helper serves chat markdown (rehypeTextDirection), the thread header, sidebar rows and command palette results, so all of them pick up the fix.

Behavior changes

• Only text with more than one sentence can change direction. Single-sentence text, which covers thread titles and every existing test case, gets the same result as before.
• A mostly English paragraph that quotes one Arabic sentence stays left to right (new test: reads mostly English sentences beside one Arabic one).
