Effects that copy state from one place to another (props into state, one store into another, flags that a later effect acts on) cause double fires, lost events, stale values and extra renders before paint. Bugs fixed:
Unrelated send and git errors showed in the Add environment form.
A warm "new scheduled task" link opened the last edited task.
A browse finishing after an environment switch overwrote its path.
A preview resolved after a thread switch opened over the new thread.
A draft lost its selection when another draft was pushed above it, and
its branch checkout could be cancelled and queued again.
A thrown outbox delivery retried in a tight loop instead of backing off.
The arrangement sheet never re-partitioned for time while open.
An aborted context import still inserted text, and a paste or pick was
lost on a thread switch.
An unchanged queued edit copied its text back into the composer when
its run started, and Edit on an archived thread did nothing.
A reserved share reopened after relaunch had no project, its picker
row was disabled, and cancel stopped on unmount.
Kept effects:
Message jump history load: needs the loader to own loading through a
message.
Feed width and font-scale cache clears: must follow the row commit.
Composer two-frame height animation and sheet transition listener.
Android popover anchor: React Native has no createPortal.
Missing new-task route replace: waits for native-stack to commit.
Preview screens closing when the remote list empties: server-driven.

Every slice behind this layer went through an independent adversarial review for disguised effects and behavior regressions before integration.
Not yet exercised in a real client. Flows worth a manual pass: timeline follow and citations, composer overlay and resting state, the details card popover (web); feed follow and jump, thread detail animations, share import, new-task routing and diff highlighting on collapse (mobile).

The mobile app centralizes navigation and app-lifetime services, adds route-scoped draft, share, checkout, and delivery state, and replaces several component effects with shared atoms, installers, clocks, and callback-based cleanup.
Changes: Mobile runtime and interaction updates
Layer / File(s)
Summary
App runtime and navigation orchestration apps/mobile/src/App.tsx, apps/mobile/src/Stack.tsx, apps/mobile/src/lib/appLinking.ts, apps/mobile/src/features/*
App services now install outside the rendered tree. Navigation state handles linking, route pruning, shortcut updates, notification paths, incoming shares, and prompt links. Root pathname and workspace helpers are exported.
Draft flows, sharing, pairing, and delivery apps/mobile/src/features/threads/*, apps/mobile/src/features/prompt-links/*, apps/mobile/src/state/*, apps/mobile/src/features/connection/*
New-task flows, branch checkout, incoming-share imports, prompt links, pairing, attachment uploads, and thread outbox delivery use atom-backed coordinators with lifecycle cleanup and route-aware cancellation.
Thread, preview, voice, and settings state apps/mobile/src/features/threads/*, apps/mobile/src/features/browser/*, apps/mobile/src/features/voice-input/*, apps/mobile/src/features/settings/*, apps/mobile/src/widgets/*
Shared clocks, scoped previews, stream haptics, voice sessions, theme runtime state, subscription refresh, and preview retry state replace local effect-managed state. Tests cover the new coordinators and state transitions.
A failed preferences load may leave the app on its splash screen. Relay removal can also open an empty account screen, and an effect rerun can skip thread follow-up actions. Resolve these paths before merging unless their impact is explicitly accepted.

Hide the splash screen when stored preferences fail to load.
The splash screen now hides only through hideSplashOnThemedLayout. That view mounts only when isReady is true, and isReady is AsyncResult.isSuccess(preferencesResult). If mobilePreferencesAtom settles as a failure, the view never mounts and SplashScreen.hide() never runs. The app then stays on the splash screen with no way out.
A failed preferences load is a real state. AdaptiveWorkspaceLayout already renders defaults when AsyncResult.isFailure(preferencesResult) is true. The removed splash coordinator in App.tsx was the earlier hide path. Mount the marker for a failed load too, so the app opens with default preferences.

Guard the SettingsAuth navigation in the shared removal flow.
SettingsEnvironmentsRouteScreen keeps relay environments removable without cloud configuration. Its remove action uses onRemoveEnvironmentPress, which can navigate to SettingsAuth for a relay-managed environment. SettingsAuthRouteScreen then returns null, leaving an empty route with no exit.
Guard the “Open T3 Account” action with hasCloudPublicConfig(), or omit that action when cloud configuration is unavailable. Preserve the existing remove action.

Recreate and capture the thread scope after effect cleanup.
ThreadDetailBody remounts when the thread changes, so thread switches do not reuse the controller. If React reruns this effect while preserving the body state, cleanup aborts the controller created by useState. Later signal checks then skip post-send cleanup, approval redirects, scrolling, or editor focus.
Recreate the controller during effect setup. Capture the active controller in each async handler before awaiting. Do not reread the ref from callbacks belonging to an older scope.
At the start of handleSendMessage and handleEditPendingMessage, assign const scope = threadScopeRef.current and use scope.signal throughout the corresponding async operation.
