Summary

Add subscription usage limit polling and visualization for Antigravity Google accounts, matching the existing behavior of Codex and Claude Code providers.

  • Probes Google Cloud Code quota endpoints (/v1internal:retrieveUserQuotaSummary and /v1internal:fetchAvailableModels) using existing Antigravity OAuth tokens stored in the instance profile.
  • Surfaces separate 5-hour session and weekly quota windows for Gemini models and shared third-party models (Claude & GPT).
  • Visualizes Antigravity usage in desktop and mobile usage views (UsageLimitsPooled), grouping windows by model tier.

Evidence

  • Before: Antigravity showed no usage limits in the Usage > Limits view, and driver status reported no subscription quotas.
  • After: Antigravity appears in the limits section alongside Codex and Claude, reporting live 5-hour and weekly percentages:
✓ packages/shared/src/usageLimits.test.ts (Antigravity limit presentation)
✓ keeps the shared Claude/GPT bucket separate from Gemini and pairs their windows
✓ apps/server/src/provider/antigravityUsageLimits.test.ts (Antigravity quota probe)
✓ retrieves quota summary and populates session/weekly windows
✓ handles token refresh and error fallbacks

Merge Danger

Door: two-way

Additive provider capability. Reverts cleanly with no schema migrations or persisted state changes.

Blast Radius: localized

Only touches Antigravity provider driver probe logic and usage limits presentation. Does not affect model execution or other providers.

Add subscription usage limit polling and visualization for Antigravity
Google accounts, matching the behavior of Codex and Claude providers.

- Probe Cloud Code user quota endpoints (retrieveUserQuotaSummary and
fetchAvailableModels) using existing Antigravity OAuth tokens
- Support separate session (5-hour) and weekly quota windows for Gemini
  models and shared Claude/GPT models
- Display Antigravity usage limits in desktop and mobile usage pools
- Add unit tests covering token refresh, quota parsing, and UI presentation

Approvability

Verdict: Not approved

Macroscope's review found this PR not approvable — This PR adds automatic OAuth token refresh and Google quota polling for Antigravity, then exposes new subscription-limit data across provider state and desktop/mobile usage views. The new external-network and credential-handling behavior is substantial and security-sensitive, warranting human review.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The Antigravity provider now probes Google quota endpoints and publishes usage limits. Usage views order and style Antigravity limits separately. Provider documentation describes the displayed allowances.

Changes

Antigravity usage limits

Layer / File(s) Summary
Quota window parsing
apps/server/src/provider/antigravityUsageLimits.ts, apps/server/src/provider/antigravityUsageLimits.test.ts
Quota responses produce Gemini and shared Claude/GPT windows. Tests cover summary and model-quota parsing, window conversion, and unavailable data.
OAuth quota probing and driver wiring
apps/server/src/provider/antigravityUsageLimits.ts, apps/server/src/provider/antigravityUsageLimits.test.ts, apps/server/src/provider/Drivers/AntigravityDriver.ts, apps/server/src/provider/Drivers/AntigravityDriver.test.ts
The driver provides the probe and clear effects to the provider. The probe refreshes and caches OAuth tokens, requests quota data, and returns usage limits or unavailable results. Tests cover credentials, requests, and probe results.
Provider lifecycle integration
apps/server/src/provider/AntigravityProvider.ts, apps/server/src/provider/AntigravityProvider.test.ts
Health checks and session starts resolve usage limits. Account clearing removes published limits and clears probe state. Tests cover retained limits, unsupported results, and sign-out.
Usage limit presentation
packages/shared/src/usageLimits.ts, packages/shared/src/usageLimits.test.ts, apps/web/src/components/usage/UsageLimits.tsx, apps/mobile/src/features/usage/UsageLimitsPooled.tsx, docs/user/providers-antigravity.md
Antigravity windows have a defined display order and provider color in web and mobile views. The documentation describes the displayed allowances and reset times.

Merge Risk | ⚪ Minimal · up to ba92b

Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to ba92b

The Antigravity usage-limit change is mergeable after normal checks. No actionable current-head risk has been established.

Security Architecture Review

Security architecture risk: 🔵 Low · up to ba92b

The integration uses existing account credentials and fixed Google destinations, with bounded requests and normalized output. Remaining risk concerns late quota results during account changes; no credential disclosure or privilege-escalation path was established.

Retained concerns

  • Low · security · inferred: The PR newly subjects account-specific quota results to a pre-existing session-start guard that permits publication after an authentication revision changes if the current state is authenticated. An older callback could therefore overwrite a newer account's quota snapshot if it survives account replacement. Health polling rejects every revision change, and logout stops sessions and interrupts authentication work; whether those controls always cancel the relevant callback remains unresolved. The supported exposure is quota metadata within the same provider instance, not credentials or additional Google authority.
Security review details

Security Blast Radius

  • inferred — The inspected production path confines credential use to the owning provider instance's Google OAuth account and optional project. Results reach clients through existing provider snapshots. No new remotely parameterized probe route, arbitrary destination selection, OAuth scope request, or privilege gain was established.

Security Findings and Attack Paths

  • inferred — The unresolved ownership sequence requires an old session callback to retain a quota result, an account revision change followed by authentication, and completion of the old callback without cancellation. The session guard then permits that result to replace current limits. This is a conditional quota-attribution risk, not a demonstrated credential theft or authorization bypass; production session stopping and authentication interruption may prevent the sequence.

Trust Boundaries and Controls

  • observed — Outbound credential-bearing requests use fixed HTTPS destinations and explicitly configure manual redirects. The production driver injects the server's Fetch HTTP client. Responses cross the provider boundary through local schema decoding and quota normalization; the mock redirect assertion alone is not runtime proof.

Resilience and Maintainability Implications

  • observed — Existing authentication ownership controls serialize sign-in and sign-out, reject process creation during those operations, interrupt active authentication work, and stop owned processes before logout clears metadata. These controls substantially limit account-transition races, but the complete cancellation relationship for quota-enriched session callbacks remains unverified.

Hardening Proposals

  • proposed — Bind quota publication explicitly to the account generation that initiated the read, independently of whether session metadata may still be accepted. Validate account replacement with an outstanding quota request and ensure invalidated results cannot overwrite the replacement account's snapshot.

…robe failures

Avoid invalidating the cached OAuth access token when quota endpoints
return empty windows or when a probe times out. Cached tokens remain
valid until expiration, sign-out, or credential change, preventing
unnecessary OAuth token refresh roundtrips.
