feat(mobile): wake saved Macs when sending from iPhone - #30763
Sending a message from an iPhone cannot currently wake a sleeping Mac on the local network. The iOS app now attempts Wake-on-LAN when a message is durably queued or the user retries a saved connection, using network details learned automatically from the Mac while connected.
Wake requests use the iPhone's Wi-Fi interface and only a matching IPv4 subnet. They are limited to one attempt per environment every 15 seconds; background reconnects never send them. Messages retain the existing outbox delivery behavior. This first implementation supports iOS → Mac; Android, browser, and desktop clients retain their existing behavior. No new controls or visual layout changes.
Release prerequisite: This adds com.apple.developer.networking.multicast to the iOS entitlements. Apple must approve that restricted capability for the relevant app IDs, and provisioning profiles must include it before signing physical-device builds. Adding it to app config does not obtain approval. See Apple's multicast networking requirements. The Mac still needs supported network hardware and Wake for network access enabled; actual Wi-Fi/closed-lid wake behavior is hardware-dependent.
Validation:
vp run check:changed passed: format, lint, knip, affected typechecks, 132 focused tests, and React compiler checks.
Native Swift tests passed for packet bytes, invalid MAC addresses, and subnet/broadcast selection.
The iOS simulator app built successfully. Integrated simulator verification was blocked by the device automation's unresolved “Open in T3 Code Dev?” alert (ALERT_DEADLINE_EXCEEDED). No physical iPhone-to-sleeping-Mac wake has been verified; that remains a release validation requirement after entitlement approval.
Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — Sending a message or retrying from iPhone now automatically attempts to wake saved Macs on the local Wi-Fi subnet. Human review is required to confirm this new default behavior, despite the subnet restrictions and rate limiting.

Walkthrough
The change adds wake MAC addresses to eligible macOS LAN endpoints and client routes. Explicit retries can use those details to send Wake-on-LAN packets from the iOS app. Mobile message enqueueing now triggers an environment retry, and the remote-access guide describes the feature and its limits.

The server adds a valid wake MAC address to eligible macOS LAN endpoints. Client contracts and learned bearer routes store the optional address, detect updates, and remove it when reports omit it.
Request wake during explicit retries packages/client-runtime/src/platform/capabilities.ts, packages/client-runtime/src/connection/registry.ts, packages/client-runtime/src/state/connections.ts, apps/mobile/src/state/thread-outbox.ts, packages/client-runtime/src/connection/registry.test.ts
The registry accepts an optional wake flag and sends requests for eligible LAN routes, with a 15-second per-environment throttle, before retrying the supervisor. The connection retry path enables waking, and message enqueueing triggers a retry.
Send wake packets from iOS apps/mobile/app.config.ts, apps/mobile/app.config.test.ts, apps/mobile/modules/t3-native-controls/ios/*, apps/mobile/src/connection/network-wake*, apps/mobile/src/connection/platform.ts, apps/mobile/test/native/T3NetworkWakeTests.swift, docs/user/remote-access.md
The iOS native module builds and sends Wake-on-LAN packets. The mobile platform wires in the network-wake capability. The app configuration omits the multicast entitlement for Personal Team builds and retains it for other builds. The guide describes setup and limitations.

Filter wake targets to IPv4 literals.
retryNow passes new URL(profile.httpBaseUrl).hostname to the iOS IPv4-only sender. A reachable LAN bearer profile with a valid wakeMacAddress and a hostname such as desk.local is rejected. Because lastWake is set before the send, the failed wake consumes the 15-second throttle while the ordinary retry still runs.
Filter the hostname before adding the target. Use a predicate that accepts exactly four decimal octets in the 0–255 range.

Addressed the open CodeRabbit finding: the identifier config test now stubs T3CODE_IOS_PERSONAL_TEAM=0, so exported Personal Team vars no longer leak into it.
vp run check:changed passed, and the config, registry, routes, DirectEndpoints and cutover test files pass (90 tests).
