fix(opencode): keep slash-command turns running past five minutes - #27674
Long OpenCode 1 slash commands could fail in T3 after five minutes while OpenCode kept working. Their synchronous HTTP request now runs without undici's response timeouts and keeps its existing cancellation and admission handling. Command request failures emit a bounded warning while preserving the original error cause.
Evidence
An actual OpenCode SDK request to a local HTTP fixture failed on main after 300.8 seconds with UND_ERR_HEADERS_TIMEOUT. With the committed transport helper, the same fixture held response headers for 315 seconds and completed on Node 24 and Node 26. Cancellation and ordinary asynchronous prompts passed on both; a Node 22 compatibility check also passed.
The focused regression fails with plain fetch and passes with the fix. The required changed-file checks passed with 50 tests. The initial independent review found no correctness issues; CodeRabbit's later logging finding was fixed with a bounded annotation. The explained diagnostic suppressions require human review under the repository's approvability policy.
Not shown: a real OpenCode CLI/model turn, the reporter's VPS, Electron, live proxy routing, or a stalled response body.

OpenCode answers POST /session/:id/command only when the whole command run
ends. Node's fetch drops that response after undici's default 300s header
timeout, so T3 marked long /command turns failed while OpenCode kept working.
The session.command call now uses a fetch whose per-request dispatcher wraps
the process's existing global dispatcher and only disables the header and body
timeouts. AbortSignal cancellation and every other OpenCode request keep their
normal behavior. The command request failure is also logged before the turn is
finalized, since the UI message stays curated.

Walkthrough
The OpenCode runtime adds a fetch wrapper that disables Undici response timeouts. The adapter uses it for session.command requests and logs eligible request failures before finalizing turns.
Changes: OpenCode command timeout handling
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Timeout-free fetch wrapper and tests packages/provider-opencode/package.json, packages/provider-opencode/src/server/OpenCodeRuntime.ts, packages/provider-opencode/src/server/OpenCodeRuntime.fetch.test.ts
Adds undici as a development dependency and adds fetchWithoutResponseTimeouts. The wrapper forwards requests through the process-wide dispatcher with headersTimeout and bodyTimeout set to 0. Tests cover a held command response, a probe that exceeds its header timeout, and abort handling.
Uses the wrapper for session.command. When existing guards permit failure handling, the adapter logs a warning and finalizes the turn with a provider-error failure.

Explanation
[#27664] Issue #27664 requires that a long OpenCode turn started with a registered command stays running until OpenCode finishes. The reviewed head routes session.command through OpenCodeRuntime.fetchWithoutResponseTimeouts (adapter.ts, client.session.command call). This helper passes dispatcher to built-in fetch. The dispatcher reuses the process-wide undici global dispatcher and sets headersTimeout: 0 and bodyTimeout: 0. This removes the 300 s header timeout that the issue identifies. The AbortSignal.any cancellation and the existing turn.finalized and admissionGeneration guards are unchanged. [#27664] The issue also requires that the failure keep its real cause. The failure path still calls makeProviderFailure({ cause, class: "provider_error" }). The head adds Effect.logWarning("OpenCode command request failed.", { errorTag: cause._tag }) before finalization, so the cause tag now appears in the server log. The added focused test in OpenCodeRuntime.fetch.test.ts covers a held command request that exceeds a short header timeout and the abort path, as described in the change summary. The reported Node 22, 24, and 26 checks are author-reported and were not rerun in this review. The reviewed diff does not change the asynchronous promptAsync path, which the issue lists as the expected behavior reference. Remaining uncertainty: the test file was not read directly in this review. The author states the real OpenCode CLI turn, Electron, and stalled body were not tested. The issue does not require those checks.

Explanation
The whole-PR diff (merge base 616c426 to head e86c63e) contains three product or support changes. OpenCodeRuntime.ts adds fetchWithoutResponseTimeouts and its undici dispatcher key selection. adapter.ts changes only the session.command call and its failure branch, and adds a warning log. package.json adds undici as a devDependency for the focused test. The test file exercises only the new helper. Each change supports the command-timeout behavior and the failure-cause logging required by #27664. No unrelated product behavior, promptAsync change, or unrelated file appears in the reviewed diff. The diagnostic suppression comment in OpenCodeRuntime.ts is a lint directive that the PR description already flags for human review. It does not expand scope.
