chore: add OXLint with vendored anti-slop rules - #429
DevSpace still has no in-repo linter, so low-evidence TypeScript patterns (unknown-heavy APIs, runtime typeof checks, accumulating copies, and similar) can land without a local check. This PR adds that infrastructure only; it does not rewrite src/ to satisfy the new rules.
OXLint 1.90.0 is a devDependency with a pnpm lint script. The generic anti-slop plugin is vendored at tools/oxlint/anti-slop/ from https://github.com/dmmulroy/anti-slop at commit 13909c9e07590f5a85d93c62712259fe14a883f7 (MIT; LICENSE copied with the tree). The Effect-specific plugin is omitted because DevSpace does not depend on Effect. oxlint.config.ts loads that plugin, turns on the full generic ruleset plus oxc/no-accumulating-spread, and ignores build outputs, node_modules, website artifacts, agent-tooling directories, and the vendored plugin itself. Local edits to the vendor tree should stay minimal and be recorded in tools/oxlint/anti-slop/UPSTREAM.md.
This replaces the stale approach in #351 with current upstream sources, without bringing over that branch's source cleanups. CI does not run pnpm lint yet: existing violations would fail the gate. A stacked follow-up will clean them up and then enforce lint in CI.
Current pnpm lint findings (errors from the new ruleset; zero-count rules are still enabled):

Walkthrough
This change adds Oxlint dependencies and a lint script. It configures Oxlint to load a local plugin with 18 error-level rules. The plugin adds source-pattern and TypeScript checks, shared analysis utilities, and readable-spacing enforcement.
Changes: Oxlint linting
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Configure Oxlint and register the plugin oxlint.config.ts, package.json, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/index.ts, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/{LICENSE,README.md,UPSTREAM.md}
The package adds a lint script and Oxlint development dependencies. The configuration loads the local plugin and enables specified rules as errors. The plugin registers 18 rules, and its documentation records source and provenance.
Recognize array transformations and copies tools/oxlint/anti-slop/shared/array-method.ts, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/rules/no-array-filter-map.ts, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/rules/no-reduce-accumulator-copy.ts
Shared helpers resolve known array expressions and bindings. The rules report adjacent filter/map calls and specified accumulator copies inside reducers.
Check syntax and runtime call patterns tools/oxlint/anti-slop/rules/no-{chained-type-assertions,conditional-empty-object-spread,module-mocking,reflect-apply,reflect-get,runtime-typeof,shape-in-symbol-names}.ts, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/shared/reflect-method.ts
Rules report specified assertion chains, conditional spreads, module-mocking calls, global Reflect calls, runtime typeof checks, and matching identifier names, subject to their stated exceptions.
Resolve aliases and inspect function types tools/oxlint/anti-slop/shared/{type-alias-resolution,lexical-type-parameters,function-parameters,scope}.ts, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/rules/no-{object-parameters,unknown-parameters,unknown-returns,unknown-type-aliases}.ts
Shared utilities resolve type aliases and inspect parameter annotations and bindings. The rules report specified object and unknown parameter, return, and alias types.
Classify unsafe dictionaries and widened values tools/oxlint/anti-slop/shared/dictionary-types.ts, tools/oxlint/anti-slop/rules/no-{known-value-widening,unsafe-dictionary-type,widen-then-assert}.ts
Shared classifiers identify unsafe dictionary types and widening targets. The rules report classified dictionary types and known values widened in specified assignments, returns, assertions, and predicate calls.
The vendored padding-line implementation and AST helpers support the spacing rule. The rule sets blank-line policies for imports, declarations, bindings, control-flow statements, and block-like statements.

Stop the ancestor climb at the nearest applicable boundary.
IfStatement, SwitchStatement, ForStatement, and function declarations are not in commentOwnerKinds. An assertion in their headers or parameters can therefore reach an enclosing function, class, or block. A SAFETY: comment directly before that ancestor can then justify the assertion.
getCommentsBefore returns only comments directly before the given node. The issue is the ancestor climb, not that every earlier comment is considered. The proposed boundary replacement must also prevent function, class, and block comments from being accepted for default-parameter and similar assertions; the current loop checks the comment before applying the boundary test.

Not changing this here: tools/oxlint/anti-slop/ is vendored verbatim from dmmulroy/anti-slop at the pinned SHA in UPSTREAM.md, and we keep local edits out so it stays re-syncable. This is a false-negative in the upstream rule (a comment on an enclosing node can satisfy it), which is better fixed upstream and picked up on the next sync.
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
@Waishnav Understood. Keeping the vendored copy unchanged preserves re-syncability. The false-negative remains an upstream limitation, so I will not press for a local fix in this PR.
Would you like a follow-up GitHub issue in this repository to track the upstream fix and a later sync?

aliasSubstitution copies base into next, then currently resolves all arguments against next. For nested aliases, an earlier inner parameter can shadow an enclosing parameter. In Outer<unknown>, Inner<string, T> resolves T to string, so V becomes string instead of unknown. classifyUnsafeDictionary then misses the unsafe value.
Use base for explicit arguments and next for defaults.

Same as above: this is upstream rule logic in the vendored plugin (a false-negative in nested alias substitution), so it should be fixed upstream rather than diverging our copy. Leaving the vendored code verbatim.
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
@Waishnav Understood. The false-negative remains valid, but the fix belongs upstream. No local patch is needed for this PR; keeping the vendored code verbatim preserves upstream parity.
