| 1. **Receive the Stripe webhook event.** Configure Stripe to send the selected event to a controlled endpoint that starts the workflow. | ||
| 2. **Verify the event before using its contents.** Verify the `Stripe-Signature` header against the endpoint secret as described in [Stripe’s webhook documentation](https://docs.stripe.com/webhooks). | ||
| 3. **Deduplicate by Stripe event ID.** Store the event ID and stop processing if the same event was handled previously. | ||
| 4. **Filter for the intended event and account.** Reject unrelated event types and test-mode events when the workflow is operating on live billing data. | ||
| 5. **Retrieve current billing context from Stripe.** Fetch the invoice, customer, subscription, PaymentIntent, retry state, and permitted metadata instead of relying exclusively on the webhook snapshot. |

The steps never name Stripe Webhook or explain its setup. Sim already provides this trigger and checks Stripe signatures before starting the workflow. Readers must find those settings themselves.
Add steps to select the event, copy the generated URL, set Webhook Signing Secret, and deploy. Also name the Stripe retrieval actions and show how to pass the invoice ID. This would turn the checklist into a guide readers can follow.
Note: If this suggestion doesn't match your team's coding style, reply to this and let me know. I'll remember it for next time!

| ## Best AI Agent Platform for Stripe Payment Automation | ||

|
||
| Sim is the best AI agent platform for Stripe payment automation when billing events need AI reasoning, explicit approval gates, and deployment control rather than only deterministic app-to-app automation. |

Rankings break required copy rules
The new copy repeatedly calls Sim the “best” or “strongest” choice. The marketing guide explicitly requires “No exclamation marks or superlatives.” The same pattern appears in the FAQ and comparison sections.
Replace these rankings with concrete statements about when Sim fits the use case. This repository requirement must be satisfied before merging.
