To Reproduce

I can reproduce the error by running the following commands in a bash shell:

# Install python=3.7 and pip:

With commit eb3cc5d checked out for hydra-zen and commit c3e32e3 checked out for mypy, I can reproduce this crash. However, I cannot reproduce the crash with commit eb3cc5d checked out for hyra-zen and commit 9b4bce9 checked out for mypy. I therefore conclude that this was fixed by #12922 🎉
