fix(mobile): tapping the Working pill scrolls to the end - #30023
On mobile, when you scroll up while a turn is running, the floating control shows the centered "Working 1m 12s" pill and a small scroll-to-end circle to its right. Only that circle scrolls. Tapping the bigger pill in the middle does nothing, which makes getting back to the end awkward, especially with your left thumb.
Fix
When a passive status (Working, Compacting, Syncing, Stopping, a goal, Preparing) and scroll-to-end are both showing, the status becomes one pill with a chevron, and tapping anywhere on it scrolls to the end. The separate circle hides, so the pill stays centered instead of sliding left.
Following the triage notes on the issue:
Combined only when a non-interactive status and showScrollToEnd are both on. The pill's onPress is onScrollToEnd, so screen-reader activation works too.
Scroll-only keeps the existing circle. Status-only keeps passing touches through to the feed.
The connection pill keeps its reconnect tap, and child-input and background statuses keep theirs. Queue, agents, preview, and action segments such as Force stop keep their own buttons next to the combined pill.
Same layout on iOS glass and on the Android/fallback pill, because both render the shared capsule content.
The combined pill's accessibility label is "Scroll to end".
One file changed: apps/mobile/src/features/threads/floating-working-control.tsx.
Verification
Setup: isolated dev server (vp run dev --home-dir <checkout>/.t3), Android emulator (Pixel 9 Pro Fold image at a phone-sized 1080×2424 display), and iPhone 18 Pro simulator (iOS 27, Liquid Glass), both on dev clients built for this checkout. To keep a turn in "Working" without a paid model, I added a local ACP provider instance to the isolated settings that runs the repo's apps/server/scripts/acp-mock-agent.ts with T3_ACP_HANG_PROMPT_FOREVER=1, then started a thread with a 60-line prompt so the feed scrolls.
For each platform, before is main (e2bb9e6) and after is this branch. Steps: scroll up while Working, tap the Working pill, then tap the chevron.
Before (main)
After (this PR)
Android
Tapping "Working" does nothing; the feed stays on line 32. Only the circle scrolls.
Tapping the pill's left edge scrolls to the end.
iOS
Same: the pill does nothing, only the circle scrolls.
Same: tapping the left edge scrolls to the end.
Android
Scrolled up

Tap chevron
After: scrolled up
After: tap the pill's left edge

States that must not change
Reconnect stays its own button (Android)
Stopping + Force stop stay separate (iOS)
Scroll-only circle (Android)
Scroll-only circle (iOS)
Reconnect: I dropped the emulator's connection to the server while scrolled up. "Failed to connect. Retrying…" stayed its own button with the circle beside it, and tapping it reconnected without scrolling. Afterwards the combined Working pill came back. (recording)
Stop / Force stop: "Not responding to Stop ⌄" scrolls, and Force stop is a separate button. In the iOS accessibility tree they are two non-overlapping buttons: "Scroll to end" at x 49–265 and "Force stop the agent" at x 266–352. One tap on Force stop opened its confirm dialog on both platforms.
Status-only: at the end of the feed, the plain "Working" pill comes back and still passes touches through. This shows in the "after tap" captures above.
Accessibility: the combined pill is announced as the "Scroll to end" button. The hidden circle keeps its existing disabled state.
vp run check:changed passes: format, lint, knip, typecheck, and React Compiler. No test was added. The change is layout and press wiring, and the recordings cover it.

Physical devices and dark mode; I only used the simulator and emulator, in light mode.
The reconnect state on iOS. The connection pill path is unchanged and shared, and I checked it on Android.
Android's reconnect and stop captures came from a build before I changed the chevron's color class from foreground to accent-icon, which fixed a blue chevron on iOS. The behavior is identical, and the final Android before/after above were recorded on the final code.

Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — Passive status pills now scroll to the end when tapped, with an inline chevron replacing the separate scroll button. The change reuses existing scrolling behavior and is limited to mobile UI interaction and presentation.

The mobile floating working control can use a passive status capsule as the scroll-to-end target. The separate scroll circle and its interaction, accessibility, and animation states now follow whether the circle is visible.

Summary
Status capsule and scroll-circle behavior apps/mobile/src/features/threads/floating-working-control.tsx
When scrolling is available and the status is passive, the capsule becomes an accessible “Scroll to end” target with a down chevron. The separate circle’s visibility controls its interaction and accessibility states, and the separation animation follows that visibility.
pingdotgg/t3code#31635: This PR also changes layout behavior based on scroll-to-end button visibility.
pingdotgg/t3code#23901: This PR adds an interactive status kind used by the scroll-target classification.
