Preserve an active test-file draft when filtering.

If the user is writing a comment on a test file that is not selectedFilePath, enabling this filter removes the file. AnnotatableCodeView.tsx then clears both the draft and its text because the file is absent from files and pendingFiles. The unsent comment cannot be recovered. Keep the draft file visible or preserve its draft while it is hidden. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Review comment at @apps/web/src/components/DiffPanel.tsx at line 554:
Update the shownFileEntries filtering in DiffPanel so enabling the test-file
filter does not discard a file with an active unsent comment draft, including
when it is not selectedFilePath. Keep that draft file visible or preserve its
draft while hidden, without changing filtering for files without active drafts.

review. Visit https://docs.coderabbit.ai/cli?utm_source=ghpr

When test files are hidden, toggling all visible files clears their saved collapse state, so hidden tests reappear expanded even if they were individually collapsed. toggleAllDiffFiles(shownFileKeys, current) replaces the entire set rather than updating only the visible keys; preserve keys outside shownFileKeys when applying the toggle.

When hideTestFiles filters out every changed file, the final-page empty-diff return says the PR has no file changes and skips rendering its review threads, so those conversations become inaccessible. The return runs before the orphan-conversation section is built; keep it from taking this path when review threads need to be shown.

Handle the all-hidden result separately from an empty diff.

If every loaded file is a test and pagination is complete, filtering produces no items. The existing empty-diff branch then says the pull request has no file changes and returns before rendering review conversations. Show an all-hidden state and retain access to those conversations.

Update the empty-files handling in the PullRequestCodeTab flow to distinguish a

Keep an active draft file visible when hiding test files.

When hideTestFiles filters the active test file, its DiffCommentAnnotation unmounts and loses its locally stored text. The parent still retains draft, so line selection remains disabled. Keep the active draft file in files.

🟠 High pullRequest/PullRequestCodeTab.tsx:519

Enabling hideTestFiles while an inline comment is being edited can unmount its composer and permanently discard the typed text; showing the tests again restores an empty composer. The text lives only in DiffCommentAnnotation's local state, so keep the file containing the active draft visible while filtering.

Limit the reveal exception to the active request.

After a guide opens a test file, PullRequestDetailPanel.tsx retains codeRevealRequest until another file is opened. This condition therefore keeps that test visible even after the user enables hiding, and can also exempt the same path in a later pull request. Clear or scope the exception after the reveal completes. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
