…ywhere The wrap button in the file and attachment previews wrote the global Word wrap setting, so one click there turned wrapping off for chat code blocks, tables, diffs, and every file preview. Those buttons now keep a per-view override, like the diff panel and PR code tab already do. Settings > Appearance > Word wrap is the only place that changes the default. Word wrap was off in my install even though it defaults to on. That made chat tables open cut off to one line. The cause: the wrap button in the file preview and the attachment preview wrote the global "Word wrap" setting. One click there turned off wrapping for every code block, table, diff, and file preview.
Now those two buttons change only the view they sit in, like the diff panel and PR code tab buttons already do. Settings > Appearance > Word wrap is the only place that changes the default.
Installs that already got flipped keep their stored value. Turn Word wrap back on once in Settings > Appearance.
