- Around line 285-290: Update the command guard in the AcpSessionRuntime wrapper
to validate the resolved target as a regular executable file, so absolute
executable paths are accepted under Bash. Keep the existing exec "$@" behavior
to preserve the command arguments.

The Linux cgroup wrapper reserves 125 for "could not start the target" and produces it with `trap 'exit 125' 0`. That trap does not cover a failed `exec`: dash runs the EXIT trap, bash does not. Where `/bin/sh` is bash — Arch and its derivatives — a missing agent binary exits 127 instead, and the session reports the wrapper as having killed the agent rather than never having launched it. Test the target before the `exec`. The caller always hands the wrapper an absolute path — `spawnCommand.command` when it is already absolute, otherwise `resolveLinuxCgroupTargetCommand`'s result — so `[ -f ] && [ -x ]` is the whole check, and it mirrors the `statSync`/`X_OK` pair that resolver already applies on the Node side. No shell option or PATH parsing is involved, so the documented 125 holds whichever shell `/bin/sh` is. The expected behaviour is already pinned by the missing-target assertion in AcpSessionRuntime.processTree.test.ts, which fails with "expected 127 to be 125" on a bash-as-/bin/sh host without this. ApprovabilityVerdict: Approved at Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — A single guard in the Linux cgroup wrapper fixes shell-dependent reporting for missing agent binaries while leaving valid launches unchanged. The scope is narrow, the intended behavior is covered by an existing regression test, and no sensitive or configuration-default changes are included. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. A missing agent binary must return exit 125 from the Linux cgroup wrapper. An EXIT trap alone returned 127 when /bin/sh was Bash. The wrapper now verifies that the absolute target is a regular executable file before exec, preserving arguments and child exit codes.
Updated with main after the runtime moved to packages/provider-acp. The existing process-tree regression test remains in apps/server.
Verification on Linux: the actual wrapper returned 125 for missing targets and directories under both Bash and Dash, preserved argv and stdout, and preserved a child exit of 42 (eight direct runtime checks). Blacksmith: all 23 existing process-tree tests passed, affected-file lint passed with zero warnings/errors, and provider-acp typecheck passed (existing Effect suggestions only). Two independent source reviewers approved bdc0441.
Original reproduction: CachyOS (Arch), GNU Bash 5.3.20 as /bin/sh; the existing process-tree suite changed from 1 failed / 22 passed to 23 passed.
