🔍 CI failure analysis for e5b40fe: 1 test failure in Superset integration suite (`test_api_get_datasource_fqn`) while 565 other tests passed; unclear if related to the Redshift LISTAGG query fix since the test is in a different module and likely flaky or dependent on external resources.

Overview

Across 6 CI logs analyzed (1 unique error template), a single test failure was identified in the Superset integration test suite. Out of 593 total tests executed, 565 passed successfully, with only 1 failure, 27 skipped, 6 xfailed, and 2 xpassed. The infrastructure and build environment setup completed successfully (dependency installation, bundle setup, label verification all passed).

Failures

Superset Integration Test Failure: test_api_get_datasource_fqn (confidence: medium)

  • Type: test
  • Affected jobs: 66245496200
  • Related to PR: unclear
  • Root cause: Test ingestion/tests/integration/superset/test_superset.py::SupersetUnitTest::test_api_get_datasource_fqn failed while 565 other tests passed. The PR modifies only Redshift Redshift queries.py (5 insertions, 2 deletions), but the failing test is in the Superset integration module. This suggests either: (1) a flaky test unrelated to the PR changes, (2) an indirect dependency issue, or (3) external resource unavailability (API calls, network). The log lacks detailed error output for the failure.
  • Suggested fix: (1) Verify the test passes consistently on the main branch to determine if it's a known flaky test. (2) Examine the Superset test for external dependencies (API calls, database connections, mock setup issues). (3) Review if Redshift query changes affect any shared utilities or base classes used by Superset tests. (4) Re-run the specific test in isolation with verbose output: pytest ingestion/tests/integration/superset/test_superset.py::SupersetUnitTest::test_api_get_datasource_fqn -vv to capture detailed error information.

Summary

  • PR-related failures: Unclear — the Superset test failure may or may not be related to the Redshift LISTAGG query fixes. Cross-module test failures in large test suites often indicate flaky tests or external dependency issues rather than direct PR impact.
  • Infrastructure/flaky failures: 1 test appears flaky or dependent on external resources (Superset API integration test).
  • Recommended action: Prioritize re-running the Superset test to determine if it's consistently failing or a transient flake. If it consistently fails on main, it's pre-existing and unblocked. If it only fails in this PR, investigate shared dependencies between Redshift and Superset modules. The overall build and test infrastructure appears healthy with 98.8% test pass rate (565/593).
Code Review ✅ Approved

Fixes LISTAGG exceed error in Redshift query fetching for lineage and usage workflow, enabling proper handling of queries that previously failed due to string length limits. No issues found.
