[Bug]: HUD window grows while dragged at 125 % scaling, and a long drag leaves the bar under the taskbar #1004

Description

@EtienneLescot

What happens

Dragging the HUD by its handle at 125 % display scaling makes the HUD window grow by about 1.5 physical px per drag step. On release the bar jumps away from the pointer by roughly half the growth horizontally and the full growth vertically.

Measured on the window rect during real OS drags (mouse down on the handle, small moves, mouse up):

  • 1180×882 → 1217×927 over ~33 steps
  • 1217×927 → 1232×935 over 10 more steps
  • a short 9-step drag drifted 3/10 px

After a long drag towards the bottom of the screen, the bar ended partly under the taskbar: bar centre y = 1042 phys px, while the work area ends at 1032.

Expected

The HUD keeps its size while dragged, follows the pointer and stays inside the work area.

Steps

  1. Windows at 125 % scaling, launch OpenScreen (HUD idle).
  2. Drag the HUD by the 6-dot handle in many small steps, then release.
  3. Compare the HUD window's size before and after, and where the bar lands relative to the pointer.

Environment

v2.0.0-rc.15 (same code as v2.0.0), NSIS install, Windows 11 Home 26200, 1920×1080 @ 125 %, AMD Radeon iGPU. Found in the rc.15 computer-use pass (#1003).

Probably DPI rounding in the drag/re-anchor path (electron/hudWindowBounds.ts, electron/windows.ts), not verified. 100 % scaling not tested.
