…t editing - Right-click a gap (including before the first clip) to ripple delete it: every layer shifts left (Premiere Ripple Delete), or close just this layer. - Arrow keys move the playhead with nothing selected: 1 frame, Shift 5, Cmd 10. - Trimming one clip of a multi-selection trims the whole selection. - Double-click a text layer to edit its content; captions get an inspector content box that rewrites the transcript segment at the playhead. - I/O set the work area in/out at the playhead; the work area bar appears. - Ellipse tool moved to E so O can be the out point.

Double-clicking a text or caption opens a textarea over it in the viewer, so the cursor is in the video. Text edits live; a caption's words are rewritten in its transcript on Enter or blur.
