LocationManager: need getLastKnownLocation() API

I need to know last known GPS location without enabling GPS receiver. Just data if they are known. The same as in JSR-179 LocationProvider.getLastKnownLocation()

Please add this API

Thanks. Unfortunately (it doesn't relate to CN1 in any way, just for information) on Blackberry phones getLastKnownLocation() in JSR-179 returns location known to java implementation, not to device itself. Example - I start system GPS application, get location there. Then I start my app which tries to get last known location via this API, and it returns empty location (0,0 if I remember correctly) - so it doesn't re-use location from system. Location in java implementation updates when location is received via java API.
This makes getLastKnownLocation on BB useless for my purposes ((
