Switching models inside a thread left no marker, unlike a fork into a new thread. Record the change in the transcript and show it as soon as the composer selection differs. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

Summary
Switching models inside an existing thread left no marker, unlike forking the chat onto another provider, which leaves a divider in the new thread. The transcript now shows the model the conversation was on and the model the next message uses.
The divider appears as soon as the composer selection differs, and it stays in the history above the message that uses the new model. A provider switch that already shows a context handoff keeps that handoff. Changing only effort or another option on the same model does not add a divider.
