I think that if the latest minor/patch of each major version is supported then it should be fine. Is that what you are saying?
Description:
Add the OpenJDK JDK distribution.
Justification:
It's the reference implementation and also the basis of the project variants (jextract, Valhalla, Leyden,...), but is not listed in https://github.com/actions/setup-java#supported-distributions.
