"/System/Volumes/Data" now shows results for "/Volumes"

"/System/Volumes/Data" scope now shows results for "/Volumes". Example result: "/System/Volumes/Data//Volumes/Pocket/Users/Shared/General Storage/Collections/Documentation (mostly video)/3D Printing/CAD/Cheetah 3D/rigid_body_tutorial.mov". I used to use "/System/Volumes/Data" as a search scope to limit results to the boot drive only (similar to "-x"). How can I limit the search results to only the Data volume of the internal boot disk? I'm still using Sequoia (15.7.4). Thanks.

Looks like /System/Volumes/Data has a "Volumes" directory:

And on my machine "Volumes" directory has a symlink to root "/".

So /System/Volumes/Data/Volumes probably leads to all mounted drives.

man find says:

     -x      Prevent find from descending into directories that have a device number different than that of the file from which the descent began.

but I think at least in my case it will still be the same device number (I have one volume on my laptop). Maybe if you have multiple mounted drives -x could help.
Copy the 'find' command invocation from Find.app to Terminal and see if adding -x helps. We could add a checkbox for it in the Find.app UI if needed.

Yes, it appears that an option for adding "-x" would accomplish what I would like.

Here's a search generated by Find.app that I tried for a file named "db-shm" . It returned results from several external volumes when run in Terminal.

/usr/bin/find -s '/System/Volumes/Data' -iname 'db-shm' -type f -print -exec open -R {} ';'

When I added -x to the command as shown below, the results were only returned from the local boot volume.

/usr/bin/find -s -x '/System/Volumes/Data' -iname 'db-shm' -type f -print -exec open -R {} ';'

These results come from a Mac Sequoia system. I haven't upgraded to Tahoe yet.
