The ! suffix makes every matching *.visual.tsx file a production entry. If a visual fixture imports a helper used nowhere in the application, pnpm knip:production treats that helper as used. Problem and resulting behavior
Dead production code can appear used when its only callers are tests or browser fixtures. This PR cleans up the existing Knip findings and makes CI run both the default graph and a separate production graph, so passing unit tests alone cannot keep unused runtime scaffolding alive.
Deliberately stricter policy than issue #519
The maintainer has explicitly expanded this PR beyond the original issue's warning-only preference for
enumMembersandduplicates. Both categories intentionally remain errors, alongside unused files, dependencies, exports, namespace exports, and exported types. Do not restore the warning downgrades to match the original issue text.classMembersremains off because extension-host reflective calls need separate treatment.
