Which documentation site is the official documentation site? #2762
Description
As I've been learning how to use the library and googling questions on how to use different commands, I've come across 3 different URLs for the documentation site. Perhaps they all actually point to the same documentation, but as a regular user, I start worrying if one of the documentation sites I'm using is out of date. Especially because all of the links look fairly similar

- https://mongoengine.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html
- https://docs.mongoengine.org/
- https://mongoengine-odm.readthedocs.io/index.html (likely just a subdomain of the first?)
Which documentation site is the recommended / official one, and is it possible to archive the others just to prevent confusion amongst users?

https://docs.mongoengine.org/ and https://mongoengine-odm.readthedocs.io/index.html is the official one and it's for the latest version (it's the same page, just different domains). The other one is from a fork of an older version.

Thanks for reporting this, I agree it's confusing. I just mailed the support of readthedocs, hopefully they'll accept to take down the docs from the old fork. I don't know why there are 2 URLs leading to the same page :\ , I've asked the support to clarify as well

update on this, mongoengine.org domain (thus https://docs.mongoengine.org/) is no longer ours, the domain got taken over and it is being used for malicious intent..
https://mongoengine-odm.readthedocs.io/index.html is the right readthedocs link
