Upgrading the base image to ubuntu:26.04 is premature and will break the build. Ubuntu 26.04 is not yet a stable LTS release. Furthermore, compiling older Python versions (such as Python 3.7 and 3.8) and installing external packages like the Microsoft ODBC driver (which currently uses the Ubuntu 20.04 repository on line 103) are highly likely to fail due to toolchain, glibc, and OpenSSL version mismatches on a newer Ubuntu base. Please revert this change and stick to the stable ubuntu:24.04 LTS.
