All changes in ProcessPool made here are harmless. This watchdog stuff will be present in a separate pull. |

It still can not be merged, and in any case the pipe approach should not be integrated if it not proven to improve the performance, KISS. |

So, may be the request should be further more split to be able to incorporate the ProcessPool fixes |
