Running Polyphorm on Linux #2

Open

Description

@ktagen-sudo

Thank you for sharing this package with me!
I am discovering the package and I was wondering how much
effort it would require from me to make it Linux compatible?
I need some general guidelines on it.

    Hi ktagen, very good question. I'm afraid it would be quite laborious because Polyphorm is strongly intertwined with DIrectX. It's a prototype that haven't been designed for easy porting.
    However, we're currently preparing a port of the entire algorithm to Python that would work on all platforms, support batch processing etc. So stay tuned :) And if you're interested in being a part of that, please feel free to contact me.

    Hi @OskarElek , I want to contribute to the the Polyphorm website design project. So I request you to assign some good first issues to understand the code base.
